Even though you already have the implants, we need to use a specific abutment that fits your gum shape perfectly. This ensures your new crown sits at the right angle and seals tightly against the gum to prevent bacteria from getting underneath.

I completely understand that two trips are inconvenient, but this rule is dictated by human biology, not by our clinic schedule. It is the standard medical protocol worldwide.

Think of an implant like planting a tree. When you first plant a sapling, the soil around it is loose. You have to give it time for the roots to dig deep and grip the earth firmly before the tree is strong enough to support heavy branches or withstand the wind.

In the first visit, we 'plant' the titanium screw (the artificial root). We then need to wait—usually 3 to 6 months—for your jawbone to fuse tightly with that screw. • Day 3: We attach your fixed temporary teeth onto the implants, and you are ready to fly home.

Other clinics may require 10 days because they use older techniques that require a waiting period between the surgery and taking the measurements for your temporary teeth.

2. Rebuilding the Foundation: If your bone is too thin (often because the sinus cavity has dropped down), we can 'renovate' the area. We perform a Sinus Lift or Bone Grafting, which involves adding medical-grade bone material to strengthen the jaw.

Think of it like reinforcing the ground before building a house—if the soil is loose in one spot, we either find solid ground nearby or strengthen the foundation. We will take a 3D scan when you arrive to see exactly which method is best for you, but low bone density rarely stops us from restoring your smile.

That is a very important medical question. The short answer is: Yes, absolutely—provided your condition is under control.

Having diabetes does not automatically disqualify you. The main concern is that high blood sugar can slow down healing and increase the risk of infection. However, if your diabetes is well-managed, your body can heal just as well as anyone else's.

Before we approve you for surgery, we will ask to see your HbA1c test results (which show your average blood sugar levels over time). If your levels are within a safe range, we can proceed with confidence. We review your full medical history first to ensure we never take unnecessary risks with your health.

First of all, please know that you are welcome here. The short answer is: Yes, absolutely. Having HIV, Hepatitis B, or C does not disqualify you from receiving dental implants or other treatments.

The only requirement is that your condition is stable and well-managed (meaning your viral load is under control). We may ask to see recent test results or coordinate with your doctor just to ensure your immune system is strong enough for the healing process.

Regarding safety, you have no reason to worry. We follow strict universal sterilization protocols for every single patient we see. To place a bridge, we have to shave down the perfectly good teeth on either side of the gap so they can act as anchors. Once those teeth are cut down, there is no going back. An implant, on the other hand, is a standalone solution. It fills the gap without touching or harming your healthy neighboring teeth.

For patients who prefer to be completely unconscious, we also offer General Anesthesia, where an anesthesiologist puts you fully to sleep. We can discuss your anxiety level beforehand to choose the option that makes you feel the safest.

That is a very common worry, but you can rest easy. During the actual procedure, you won’t feel any pain at all because the area will be completely numb. If you are anxious, we also offer sedation options to keep you relaxed or even let you sleep through the whole thing.

After the anesthesia wears off, it is normal to feel some soreness and swelling—similar to how it feels after having a tooth pulled. The discomfort is usually strongest in the first 48 hours, but it is easily managed with the painkillers we prescribe. We will also have you use an ice pack on and off during the first day to help bring the swelling down. Most patients find the recovery much easier than they expected.
